1.2 Visual Content and Biometric Data
As an AI-powered photo editing application, KuoAi processes the visual content you upload, including photographs, images, and videos. When you upload content to our Service, we analyze various aspects of your images to provide our AI enhancement features. This analysis may include the detection of faces, facial features, expressions, and other visual elements within your content.
When you upload photos/facial images to KuoAi, we ensure that such data is transferred securely and encrypted to our server. Our artificial intelligence algorithm analyzes the photos you upload and applies them to the template you choose to generate stylized pictures. It's important to note that no biometric data is collected and processed during this process. Additionally, any photos provided by users and photos generated are not stored on our servers.
We process your facial images on KuoAi's server only for the purpose of generating photos as you request. We do not sell your Personal Information to third parties. Once the generation process is completed, the photos you provided will be deleted immediately. We only store anonymous or aggregated data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes set out in our Privacy Policy.

Your uploaded images and created content are typically retained for 30 days after processing to ensure service quality and enable you to access your creations. You can delete individual pieces of content at any time through the app interface, and all content associated with your account will be deleted when you close your account.

We retain usage and analytics data for up to two years to understand long-term trends and improve our Service. This data is aggregated and anonymized to protect individual privacy while enabling us to make data-driven improvements to KuoAi.

KuoAi operates globally and may transfer your information to countries outside your home jurisdiction, including countries that may not have the same level of data protection as your home country. When we transfer data internationally, we implement appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses approved by relevant regulatory authorities) to ensure your information remains protected in compliance with applicable laws, including China's Personal Information Protection Law (PIPL).
Our Services do not address anyone under the age of 14. We do not knowingly collect minors' personal information without their parents' or guardian's consent. To comply with applicable data protection laws (including China's PIPL), we must obtain the parent's or guardian's verifiable consent before processing minors' personal information. Hence, we need to collect parent's or guardian's personal information including name and online contact information to enable us to communicate and obtain consents from them. Such personal information is only used for obtaining parental consent and will be deleted within a reasonable time. If we do not receive parental consent within a reasonable time, we will delete the parent contact information and any other information collected from the minor in connection with that activity.
If we learn that a user is under the age of 14, we'll take reasonable steps to delete any processed data and close the associated account. If you are a parent or guardian of our user and learn that the user's data is processed without your consent, please contact us via support@kuoai.net and we will take reasonable steps to delete the processed data.
Our Services may enable access to third-party websites or services operated by third parties. To provide you with better service and enhance your experience, we may transfer certain in-app data to the third-party service providers. We ensure that the transmission of data is kept to the necessary minimum. This Privacy Policy does not apply to any data processed by such third-party websites and services.
